What do grey uptime bars mean?

Missing observations are neither uptime nor downtime.

Grey bars mean there is no observed monitoring time for that UTC calendar day. New monitors, paused periods, and observation gaps can produce grey bars.

Cheapmonit does not fill missing days with 100% uptime. Availability is calculated only from observed time, with pending and paused periods excluded.
