Why didn’t I receive an outage alert?
Check confirmation, routing, channel state, and delivery history.
A first failure alone does not send an outage alert; it must be confirmed. After confirmation, only active channels selected for that monitor receive the alert.
Check Delivery history to distinguish an alert that was queued, is retrying, was delivered, or stopped.
What to do
- Confirm that the monitor has an ongoing confirmed incident.
- Check that your destination is Active rather than paused or unconfirmed.
- Edit the monitor and inspect its Alert channels routing.
- Review delivery history and use Send test to diagnose the destination independently.
