Does opening an alert link acknowledge the incident?
The action happens on submission, not when a link is viewed.
No. Opening an acknowledgement link only presents the action. The incident changes when the action is submitted, so mail scanners and link previews do not acknowledge it.
The link also re-checks the holder’s access and Premium eligibility when used. Dashboard acknowledgement uses the same incident rules.
