Does paused time increase my error budget?

Budgets are calculated over observed time only.

No. The error budget is the downtime allowed by an SLA target over observed monitoring time. Paused, pending, and missing-data periods are excluded.

Choose a target between the available 99% and 99.99% options in Reports & SLA. A monitor without a target or observations has no meaningful budget to display.
