How is uptime calculated?

Availability is weighted by observed time rather than check counts.

Uptime measures confirmed service time over observed monitoring time. Pending and paused time are excluded, and missing observations stay missing.

A potential outage still counts as up while being confirmed. A potential recovery still counts as down until confirmed. A monitor without observations does not report perfect uptime.
