Browser and phone push

Enable notifications on each supported browser or installed web app.

This guide covers Premium features. Premium is in early access and cannot be bought yet.

Enable this device

  1. On iPhone or iPad, add Cheapmonit to the Home Screen first and open that installed web app.
  2. Open Alert channels and choose Push · this browser.
  3. Select Enable push and allow notifications when your browser asks.
  4. Repeat on each browser or device that should receive alerts.

When a browser cannot subscribe

Push requires browser support and notification permission. If notifications are blocked, review the browser’s site permission settings. A server without push configuration cannot accept subscriptions.

Push notifications name the monitor and event and open the dashboard. Cheapmonit has no native mobile app. Push stops when the workspace owner leaves Premium.

On-call alerts are different

The person on call and escalation steps receive email. Shift reminders can also reach the responder’s own push channels. Enabling a workspace push channel does not replace on-call email.
