Slow response alerts

Detect slow successful checks without treating them as outages.

Set a useful threshold

  1. Edit the monitor and open Advanced settings.
  2. Enable the slow response alert and choose a threshold between 100 ms and 10 seconds.
  3. Save the monitor and review response times on its details page before adjusting the threshold.

Slow is different from down

A successful check above the threshold sends a slow response alert without counting as downtime. The incident lifecycle remains tied to confirmed failures and recoveries.

Use the response-time chart for trends and the check table for exact observations. A failed check breaks the successful-response line.
