Private pages and branding

Protect a status page with a password or use your own visual identity.

This guide covers Premium features. Premium is in early access and cannot be bought yet.

Protect a page

  1. Open Status page and find its privacy settings.
  2. Choose password protection and set a page password.
  3. Save and check the public link in a visitor session without workspace access.
  4. Share the page link and password only with the intended visitors.

Protected visits

A protected page requires a valid unlock visit or a signed-in session in that workspace. Its badge and feed use the same access rules. Changing the password ends existing unlocked visits.

A password-protected page is distinct from a workspace login: a visitor who unlocks the page does not gain access to the dashboard.

Use your identity

Premium supports a logo, an accent color, and removing Powered by cheapmonit. Preview the page before saving branding changes and choose a color that keeps the page readable.

Custom domains are not supported. The page continues to use its Cheapmonit status URL.
